These are pics of a magnetic coil pickup mounted onto the bridge of my upright bass, along with a piezo electric pickup, with a mini-battery powered mixer to combine the two sources. This allowed me to get a nice natural tone from the piezo, then crank in some big sound from the magnetic pickup. It also helped with feedback problems on stage. These pics are from Winter, 2005.
